The only way to cover a difficult-to-reach area in your home with WiFi before WiFi mesh systems became popular was to use a wireless extender (also known as a repeater), a device that, when strategically placed, could take the WiFi signal from your main router and push it further, allowing your devices to connect to the WiFi network from a greater distance.

Wireless extenders, despite the fact that the WiFi mesh system has taken over, are still a great way to provide additional WiFi coverage, and Rock Space has decided to make its presence felt in the networking market by offering a couple of dual-band WiFi repeaters, a mesh WiFi system, and a single-band 2.4GHz extender, among other things (at the moment, the Chinese manufacturer seems to be well known for its smartphone accessories).
