Asus RT-AC2600 Review
With combined dual-band performance up to 2600Mbps of 802.11ac “WIFI 5 standard,” the ASUS RT-AC2600 is an entry-level wireless router that is generally three times faster than the previous 802.11n generation wireless standards. Due to its position as an entry-level router in an AC generation router, the RT-AC2600 does not have premium features such as AiProtection Pro and AiMesh.
Thanks to 5th generation Wi-Fi (5G Wi-Fi) and 256QAM technology, the 802.11ac chipset on the RT-AC2600 provides much higher wireless rates than the N technology on the same model. It has a maximum speed of 800 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and a maximum speed of 1733 Mbps on the 5GHz spectrum. The increased bandwidth provides you with the increased capacity you require to improve your Wi-Fi experience at home. If you don’t have a wired connection, you can still enjoy ultra-smooth online gaming, faster web browsing, and other bandwidth-intensive applications like video streaming.
The ASUS RT-AC2600 router is equipped with a dual-core CPU, which avoids the performance dips that are common with other routers. As a result, even on the busiest home networks, HD video streaming is seamless, latency for online gaming and VoIP calls is low, and file downloads are unaffected.
Because of the use of AiRadar Beamforming technology, high power amplification, and proprietary ASUS RF fine-tuning, the range of coverage is increased, dynamic data speed is increased, and stability is improved.
The revolutionary MU-MIMO technology can link many MU-MIMO-compatible clients at the highest speed available on each device at the same time.
Because of ASUS QoS, you can control the amount of bandwidth used by your clients on both wired and wireless connections. You can also set different download and upload maximum speeds for different clients, and you can prioritize your online gaming and HD streaming for the highest priority, which will eliminate all lagging issues.
